We are
happy to announce that as of 2013 Al-Ummah Europe is
back!
Research
has shown that attending camp teaches important life
skills such as critical decision making, conflict
resolution, responsible citizenship, leadership,
self-esteem and spirituality. Al-Ummah Europe aims to
further these skills through positive youth
development... and a whole lot of fun!
This
summer, the eight-day Al Ummah Europe residential will
take place on the shores of Lake Ullswater, a
custom-built Outward Bound site that focuses on the
Al-Ummah motto of:
Challenge,
Develop, Become.
So if
you are between the ages of 15 and 18, join us at Al
Ummah Europe this summer and

Challenge
yourself with exciting activities such as caving,
orienteering, and abseiling.

Develop a better understanding of your faith with
thought-provoking workshops and sessions.

And become more confident, articulate individuals
with a strong group of Ismaili friends and mentors.
The
dates for this year’s camp are August 17th-25th.
Applications for both facilitators and participants are
open until Sunday 28th April. Grants are available, so
all eligible Jamati members are encouraged to apply.
